Steps to upgrade to the latest version of Debian stable, Debian 6 Squeeze

1. Edit your sources.list

nano / etc / apt / sources.list

2. Replace the version of the current Debian stable release :

etch -> lenny
squeeze -> squeeze


3. Run System Update

aptitude update

4. and now Version Upgrade
aptitude full-upgrade
